Directions To Change a Tire

1. Put the car in park if it is has an automatic transmission or reverse if it has a standard transmission.
2. Put the parking brake on.
3. Put blocks under a wheel (if available).
4. Remove the hub cap (if equipped).
5. Loosen the lug nuts before jacking up the car.
6. Jack up the vehicle.
7. Remove the lug nuts.
8. Remove the wheel.
9. Replace the wheel with the spare.
10. Put the lug nuts back on the lugs and tighten them as tight as possible in a crisscross pattern.
11. Let the jack down.
12. Tighten the lug nuts securely using a crisscross pattern.
13. Replace the trim ring and hub cap (if equipped).
14. Remove the blocks.
