First step in using a dye is to find your work piece
and tighten it securely in a vice.
Second step is to make sure your dye is tightened into
the dye wrench.
Third step is to start the dye on the stock by pushing
very hard and turning it clock wise. Once you have your dye started stop
turning the wrench and squirt it good with cutting oil.
Fourth step is to start turning the wrench again clockwise
and go back and fourth (so you can break the burr) until you have
the desired thread length.
Fifth step back the dye all the way off of the piece
of work and inspect the thread and see if it is the length and right threads
per inch.
